After Hurricane Ian left Suncatchers’ Dream in devastating condition, our Sanibel Island retailer has successfully rebuilt and is having their <\/span>GRAND RE-OPENING this month<\/span><\/a>!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s been a long road for Dan Thompson, owner of Suncatchers’ Dream, and his fellow islanders.<\/span><\/p>\n

In September 2022, Hurricane Ian wreaked havoc on Sanibel Island. Dan’s home and store were both destroyed. By some miracle, he was able to salvage some of his store inventory after the storm. A lot of that was Dune Jewelry!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“I took a boat to the island and was given a loaner bike to use to get to the store. The damage was heartbreaking. One saving grace was that our Dune Jewelry case tipped forward in the storm, so the jewelry inside the case and in the drawers was all safe.” <\/span>– Daniel Thompson, Suncatchers’ Dream<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Dan finally received the keys to his remodeled 1200 sq. ft. space located in the Olde Sanibel Shoppes. It’s been a long wait filled with contractor calls, supplier catalogs, and social casinos<\/a> on his phone between updates. Now comes the task of setting up the store and getting it ready for visitors.<\/p>\n

“The sun is rising on Suncatchers’ Dream,” says Daniel. “The magic that makes Sanibel so special did not wash away in the storm. Come see for yourself.”<\/span><\/p>\n
