{"id":3266,"date":"2016-06-23T13:47:02","date_gmt":"2016-06-23T13:47:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/?p=3266"},"modified":"2017-09-28T15:30:28","modified_gmt":"2017-09-28T19:30:28","slug":"send-us-your-special-sand-from-your-holiday-adventures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/send-us-your-special-sand-from-your-holiday-adventures\/","title":{"rendered":"Send Sand from your Holiday Adventures"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Summer is here!\u00a0 Days are longer, weather is warmer and it\u2019s my absolute favorite time of the year.\u00a0 This past weekend I took a road trip with the family down to the South Shore of Massachusetts.\u00a0 We drove about an hour and a half (due to major traffic) and ended up in Marshfield.\u00a0 This cute little town is filled with tons of fun loving beach peeps &#8211; from bikers to the beach elite, this place is diverse.\u00a0 A couple of well-known celebs have houses there including Steve Carell and Steven Tyler. I\u2019m told that the locals don\u2019t think twice when they bump in to either of these guys around town.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/beach1.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3274\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3274\" src=\"https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/beach1.jpg\" alt=\"beach1\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1000\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/beach1.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/beach1-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/beach1-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/beach1-530x530.jpg 530w, https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/beach1-100x100.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So first we drove down to Rexhame Beach which is gorgeous!\u00a0 It has beautiful grassy dunes and a classic dune fence running along the beach.\u00a0 This is the type of location where you can style your models in literally anything and the shots will be perfect.\u00a0 Mother nature takes care of all the details for you.\u00a0 The girls played awhile and after gathering some sand for the Sandbank we headed to Brant Rock.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/beach2-1.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3275\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3275\" src=\"https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/beach2-1.jpg\" alt=\"beach2\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1000\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/beach2-1.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/beach2-1-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/beach2-1-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/beach2-1-530x530.jpg 530w, https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/beach2-1-100x100.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Brant Rock is where we rented a house for the photo shoot next week.\u00a0 We ended up bumping in to the owner of the beach house Jack, who\u2019s lived in Marshfield for 44 years and had plenty of colorful stories about how the town has evolved over the years.\u00a0 The house sits directly in front of a long jetty which will be great to shoot on \u2013 or even fish off of.\u00a0 Maybe one of our models will be up for it!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3282\" src=\"https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/AdobeStock_61096656-1000x333.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/AdobeStock_61096656-1000x333.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/AdobeStock_61096656-1000x333-300x100.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/AdobeStock_61096656-1000x333-768x256.jpg 768w, https:\/\/dunejewelry.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/AdobeStock_61096656-1000x333-530x176.jpg 530w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Send Sand Make Memories<\/h2>\n<p>We collected some sand (as always). Afterward Lyla repeatedly tortured Alexa by chasing her with a huge handful of slimy seaweed.\u00a0 We went to check out The Jetty in the middle of town.\u00a0 This place has a casual beach bar atmosphere, rustic and relaxed, with good food.\u00a0 We ordered the Mexican street corn which was insanely delicious.
