For the past 6 months, we\u2019ve been working diligently with our web development team to bring you a completely new user experience on Dune Jewelry’s New Website.\u00a0 When I launched Dune Jewelry in 2010, I considered us to be the Original Beach Sand Jewelry Company, and over the years I\u2019ve come to know one thing:\u00a0 our customers are the BEST.\u00a0 Through Dune\u2019s customers I\u2019ve learned that beach sand is not the only thing that we can incorporate into our jewelry, and so my vision for Dune and what Dune can be has grown and evolved. \u00a0In fact, over the past 7 years, the concept has grown so much larger than I had ever imagined and our customers have grown even more passionate and expressive.\u00a0 There was no way we could design a new website and not listen to all of their feedback.\u00a0 I want our customers to be able to create the type of jewelry and accessories that they will want to wear every single day. Not only because it\u2019s beautiful, but because it tells a story.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve opened thousands of packages over the years that contained sand, earth, and elements from unique locations all over the world, sent to me by you<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 Our new website will offer our original Sandbank filled with thousands of beach locations and it will now also offer our \u201cSandbank & Elements\u201d for you to choose from.<\/p>\n You can now select your design, and then browse all of our Banks to figure out which sand or elements you\u2019ll incorporate in your custom piece of jewelry.\u00a0 You can choose from the Beach Bank, Nature Bank, Sports Bank, Golf Bank, Shell Bank, Power Stones and more!<\/p>\n To give you an idea of what this entails, the Beach Bank will hold all of our beach sands including ocean, river or lake, while the Sports Bank will hold sand from Fenway Park or crushed brick from the Original Yankee Stadium.\u00a0 Each Bank will hold sand, earth or elements from thousands of exceptional and memorable locations worldwide.\u00a0 Think tree bark from the Redwood Forest or coal recovered from the RMS Titanic. \u00a0The possibilities are endless!<\/p>\n Basically, we\u2019re using our patented process of inlaying sand into jewelry and creating an entirely new jewelry category that we call Experiential Jewelry™.\u00a0 What is Experiential Jewelry™ you ask?\u00a0 It\u2019s a handcrafted object made of natural elements relating to or derived from an experience, and often worn for adornment.\u00a0 (Yes, I made that up, but isn\u2019t it perfect?!)\u00a0 I hope that our customers will look at our Experiential Jewelry™ as a way to custom create imaginative and significant pieces of jewelry that will resonate with them for years.
