Cape Town, South Africa Sand Charm<\/span><\/h2>\n

My mom was born in Cape Town, South Africa and moved to the states with her family when she was 16. She hasn’t been back since. I came across Dune Jewelry at a craft show and saw that they had sand from the beach that she practically grew up in, I was shocked!! I got her the sand in a little charm for her bracelet for Christmas and she LOVED it. She cried happy tears! <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Old Orchard, Maine Memories<\/span><\/h2>\n

Before the age of 27 I had never seen the ocean. My first trip at that age was to Old Orchard Beach in the Kinney Shores area and I couldn’t think of a place more wonderful than this. Maine has been my refuge ever since every year I return and bring my family in tow to a rented beach house 38 years!! I also steal a few trips every year with just my husband. I now at age 65 have seen the magical place in all four seasons.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Sanibel Island & Captiva Island, Florida Earrings<\/span><\/h2>\n

Forty years ago, my mom and dad bought a timeshare on Captiva Island. They enjoyed it so much that they ended up buying another timeshare on Sanibel, resulting in two weeks in paradise each year. We just celebrated my mom\u2019s eighty-fifth birthday on the island. The perfect gift for her were your earrings made of sand from Sanibel and Captiva. I hope she can continue to come down to her place. If not she\u2019ll always have her little bit of paradise with her .<\/span><\/p>\n
