Introducing our new Guest Blogger series featuring some of our favorite Dunies from the world of fashion, culture, travel and more. This week we welcome Allison Davis from the blog @OceanStateOfStyle as she shares her Disney Wedding sand story! \u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n

\"\"My husband, Shawn, and I were married one year ago at Walt Disney World\u2019s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. I had grown up spending countless days at Walt Disney World, and always dreamed of getting married there! When Shawn and I met, we quickly realized we both loved this vacation destination. During our several years of dating, we often traveled down to Florida to visit our favorite place. <\/span><\/p>\n

Life was hectic with Shawn starting his career, and my law school studies, but we always found time to visit Disney World. In June of 2015, Shawn asked me to marry him during a fireworks display at the Magic Kingdom. We immediately decided that we wanted to have a Disney Wedding! We chose to get married at the Wedding Pavilion located on the beach of the Grand Floridian Resort. This was followed by a reception at the Grand Floridian, and ending the night with a private dessert party with fireworks at EPCOT. <\/span><\/p>\n

Getting married at Walt Disney World’s Grand Floridian Resort was truly one of the most incredible memories of my life, so you can imagine how happy I was to see that Dune Jewelry had sand from the resort available to be placed in a customized piece of art. <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I chose to have sand placed in the Rope Inlet Cuff<\/a>\u00a0and loved this design because it ties in my classic New England style, while also holding onto a special memory. The nautical design. One of my favorite things is when someone compliments my bracelet, and I get to share with them all about one of my favorite memories. <\/span><\/p>\n
