We are ready to tell your story at Dune in 2019 and beyond. Jewelry trends just keep getting better and better and we’re ready to add our Experiential Jewelry twist to 2019!\u00a0 The year is coming in hot, and I have to say\u2026I\u2019ve pretty much seen it all now.\u00a0 Big, small, gold, silver, porcelain, mismatched, feathers, organic, modern\u2026you name it and I\u2019ve seen it barreling toward us on the most influential catwalks this year.\u00a0 The one thing I haven\u2019t seen is understated.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Now I\u2019m not one to jump on the trend bandwagon, but I\u2019ve definitely been inspired by all of the glitz, glam and sheer size<\/i> of the pieces I\u2019ve been seeing, which is the motivation behind our Endless Summer Bar Earrings<\/a>.<\/strong> \u00a0These earrings are my absolute favorite new Dune design in recent months!\u00a0 They\u2019re sizable enough to make an impact, but still wearable for every day.\u00a0 Even cooler is the fact that they have multiple bezels that you can fill with one or five<\/i> unique sands or elements.\u00a0 I love that they could actually accommodate memories from an entire five-port cruise if you wanted them to.<\/span><\/p>\n

When Holly came to me and asked for some sketches of new designs to put into development, I was SUPER excited. Our collab started out with just a tiny drawing I had sketched almost as an afterthought – it was a ring with eight spaces to put sand and elements into. I knew this version would be way too annoying for the Sand Artists to do on a daily basis ( I know – I\u2019ve been a sand Artist too!) But then Holly suggested that it have four bezels instead of the eight, and suddenly we could see a whole collection coming out of this one little idea.<\/span><\/p>\n

Summer is all about adventures, right? Road tripping with friends, going from place to place and making memory after memory. Taking a little bit of sand from that beach where you had an unforgettable bonfire, some petals from that daisy chain you put together on a lazy summer afternoon, or some crushed rock from that hike that was super difficult but had an amazing view at the end. That\u2019s ultimately what inspired Holly and me to create the whole endless summer collection – the ability to take a little bit of each of these summer adventures and put it into one piece of gorgeous jewelry.\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

I filled my first Endless Summer Ring<\/a><\/strong> with violet petals from my parents house (where we have the best cookouts on warm summer nights), a crushed sharks tooth from the Potomac River (that I found on an epic August trip with my cousin), sand from Lake Champlain in Burlington (where I went to College, and go back to every summer), and lastly I threw in gorgeous red sand from Morocco (where I\u2019ve never been but plan to go next summer!). When I wear my ring, I feel like I\u2019m taking the best parts of my summer with me wherever I go. And the best part is I know I\u2019ll have that feeling forever <3\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n
