Voted best gift shop on Sanibel as “Best of the Islands” many years in a row, Suncatchers’ Dream is a top notch experience!\u00a0 They are located in the Olde Sanibel Shoppes, next door to the local food favorite, Over Easy Cafe. <\/span>From the moment you step into this store, you will feel the magic.\u00a0 The owner, Dan Thompson, or one of his superstar sales associates (Judy, Poppy, Karen, Angelika and Beth) will give you a warm Sanibel Island greeting and show you around the carefully curated collections in the store.\u00a0 They feature the works of local and national artists, including one of their very own employees, Angelika, who is a well known photographer on the island. She is also a huge fan of Dune Jewelry!<\/span><\/p>\n

An avid wildlife advocate and all around animal lover, he is never afraid to jump in to help the Sanibel wildlife when they are injured and faithfully supports the Clinic for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW). Dan is also currently a board member of the Sanibel Captiva chamber of commerce. He has the right personality for bringing people together and making you feel heard. When the shop is closed and the Sanibel sun has gone down, Dan unwinds in some unexpected ways.
