Let\u2019s talk about Luxe<\/span><\/h2>\n

Our founder Holly Daniels Christensen developed and patented Dune\u2019s Luxe finishing process, originally for our Dune Bar and the Island Collections. These designs were the first in our catalogue and are fan favorites to this day.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The luxe process took two years to perfect because I wanted to be sure that our designs would last a lifetime. Now I can confidently say we’ve achieved that goal. These are heirloom pieces that can be passed from generation to generation.”<\/em>

Our Luxe Process\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

First we mix your sand or earth element, then artistically handcraft your memory into your selected design. We allow your design to set. After setting, your piece is hand polished and ground down on a lapidary wheel. The chunkier and more textural the sand or element, the better the effect.<\/p>\n

Our Luxe process literally cuts through the element, revealing a mosaic of natural colors. <\/span>Our favorite sands in these pieces are the dark rocky sand from Greece and Italy, or the light & bright shelly Caribbean sands. Want a pop of color? Any of our Power Stones create magic when used in our Luxe pieces.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
