Summer is officially here, and I don\u2019t know about you, but I am SO ready to sip on a refreshing cocktail and have something delicious to eat!<\/p>\n

Can you believe the Fourth of July is right around the corner? The last few months have been interesting, that’s for sure. It’s so crazy that we’re already halfway through 2020! Although this year’s Red, White and Blue holiday will be very different from previous years that have been filled with big pool parties and BBQs, it doesn’t mean we can’t have fun in our own backyards with our family or with a few close friends we feel comfortable being around.<\/p>\n

Honestly, this whole spring has been one big lesson in finding new ways to keep ourselves entertained at home, hasn’t it? My group chat has been WILD lately \u2014 one friend started building a whole backyard tiki bar from scratch, another’s been baking her way through every sourdough recipe on the internet, and a third had Google open all afternoon with is online gambling legal in florida<\/a> typed into the search bar so she could figure out whether to host a little virtual poker night with her cousins down in Tampa over the holiday weekend. Everyone is finding their thing! And whatever your version of “making the long weekend feel special” looks like, mine always, always circles right back to the food.<\/p>\n
