When I reflect upon this past year I keep doing a double-take. Like\u2026 wait, WHAT did we accomplish in 2021?!…WOW! The year raced by at record speed with so many new challenges to navigate at home and at work but when I dig into the reality of what we did as a small business, it was one of the best years in Dune HISTORY!<\/span><\/p>\n

A Look Back….<\/h3>\n

First and foremost we opened our first-ever branded store on Cape Cod alongside my childhood best friend, Kellie Quinn. If you\u2019re visiting the Cape, make sure to head to Harwich Port to check out <\/span>our boutique<\/span><\/a>. You\u2019ll love meeting Kellie and hearing about all things Dune, PLUS you\u2019ll be able to see a physical sampling of our growing Sandbank that holds over 5,000 sands and earth elements from memorable and iconic locations around the world. The colors and textures are a lot of fun to discover and you\u2019ll be surprised by how diverse the sands are from all of the different locales.<\/span><\/p>\n

We hit $170,000! Yes, through our Giving Events, Dune Jewelry has donated over $170,000 to a multitude of charitable organizations across the globe. From mental health awareness to coastal preservation, to rainforest conservation, we believe in making the world around us a better place and this is part of our mission that we take very seriously. We\u2019re looking forward to surpassing $200,000 in the coming year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our retail partners are THRIVING! We\u2019re a Small Business that Supports Small Businesses. We have hundreds of unique retail partners around the world who have had a wonderful year selling Dune Jewelry and we\u2019ve joyously welcomed over 100 new retailers to our family in 2021. <\/span>Find a Retailer Near You<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve also introduced stunning <\/span>New Designs<\/span><\/a> to our lineup throughout 2021. Some of my current faves are the Essential Rope Cuff Bracelets – perfect for stacking, the Third Eye Chakra designs, and the BREEDLOVE Hoops. Also, the Serenity Collection\u2026sigh, it relaxes me just thinking about it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Next on the roster in 2022 is our new concept store in South East Alaska. Cruising Alaska is said to be one of the most amazing trips one can take in their lifetime and Dune is blessed to have the opportunity to open a store in the small port of Ketchikan on May 1, 2022. We are partnering with Infinity Jewelers to create an experiential boutique where visitors can purchase Dune items crafted with sand and earth elements from the Alaskan Coast. Visitors will also have the opportunity to engage in our first Port O\u2019 Call Travel Bar where they can create their own travel necklace or bracelet from charms that represent the top cruise ports in the world. More details to come!<\/span><\/p>\n

Last but not least, we won\u2019t disappoint when it comes to new designs and products that will keep your wanderlust alive in 2022 and beyond. <\/span>The future is bright and the new year is going to deliver wonderful things.
