The first part of parenthood is tough. Everyone warns you about it while you’re expecting, but nothing can prepare you for experiencing the sleepless nights, midnight feedings, and everything in between. Yet, as I’m 14 months into parenthood, I cannot believe how quickly it’s gone. As cliche as it is, true love is found in motherhood.
This year has been such a blink to me – and truly been the most joyful year of my life. Bringing home a small, preemie newborn and watching him grow into a little boy has been the gift of my lifetime. I’m so thankful for Dune creating pieces that keep my memory of his infancy alive. I look down at my ring and see the tiniest sleeper he wore the first time at home from the hospital. My bracelet has a lock of precious blonde hair that grew in the back before it grew on the top.
Parenthood is the most beautiful love story ever written in your heart. I’m thankful for these pieces giving me a sweet reminder of my little baby each and every day.
