Summer is here and I can’t contain my excitement about all of the new designs we have on the horizon. Each and every day I do my best to listen to our customer’s ideas and feedback to create new Dune that will resonate with you all…and this year I think you’re going to LOVE all of the new designs that will be introduced between now and Christmas. I’ve taken a slightly new approach over the past few months. I’ve recruited some of our studio team to begin designing with me.
So. Much. NEWNESS!
Many of the new designs that I’m most looking forward to were worked on by our Sand Artist and packaging specialist, India. India joined the team about 2 years ago and has become an integral part of the Dune family. She also happens to be a goat Mom (yep, she has two goats and I’m obsessed). When I went to her and asked if she could work on a compass collection, she went right to work sketching and reworking our new compass. This will be an entire collection including necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings and even cufflinks. I was recently shooting the compass collection on the beach in Scituate and this girl Ashley came over to ask what I was up to.
By the time we finished talking, she had bought the compass ring sample right out of my photo shoot stock. That’s how much she loved it! The other design that India and I worked on together is a collection we’re calling The Endless Summer. I fully believe this collection will become a Dune classic! You can get super creative and incorporate multiple sands and elements. Which is perfect for all of our avid travelers out there.
