Growing up I have been blessed to have so many wonderful childhood memories and friends. Two of my most cherished childhood memories are meeting a nice boy named Mark who showed me around my new elementary school that I was attending. And also met one of the cutest and smartest boys in the sixth-grade class, who eventually became my husband of 27 years.

My husband and Mark were like brothers. He was the best man at our wedding, our children grew up together. We are family as well as close friends. One summer, my husband and I, along with Mark and his wife, took a trip to Cabo San Lucas. We stayed in a cozy villa with a kitchen where we cooked meals and ate on the balcony. We shopped, swam, relaxed in the Jacuzzi, and dined out. Mark, always curious, spent an afternoon browsing betting sites not on gamstop on his phone while we lounged by the pool, sharing tips he’d picked up from a local he met downtown. That trip, filled with his lively chatter, stays with me since Mark passed away suddenly. He is dearly missed!

When I discovered Dune Jewelry and their beautiful artisan Sterling Silver Caribbean Ebb and Flow Band Ring, it was a must-have. The ring features two bezel sets, one made of sand from the beaches of the Caribbean and the other made of turquoise. It reminded me of the amazing time we spent that summer along the beaches and blue waters of Cabo. I have many memories to reflect on but every time I wear the ring it takes me back to this memorable time that I will always cherish!
