Travel Treasures Charm Necklace Review
Rainbows, sunsets, shooting stars, and the sounds of the waves crashing against the shore… All of those special little moments pop into my head every time I look at my beautiful Dune Jewelry Travel Treasures charm necklace made with shells from my favorite place on Earth, Hawaii.
Hawaii is such a special place to my husband and I. I’ll never forget the first time we went and how I felt staring at the beauty surrounding us for the first time. We first traveled to Hawaii in 2019 with some close friends that we consider family. We were blown away by the gorgeous neighboring island views, crystal clear water, and the fiery red sunsets. There was something about being there that made me feel at peace and at home. We knew after that trip that it was a goal of ours to get back to that magical place.
Fast forward to 2021 and my husband and I booked a trip back to Maui for that September to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and my 30th birthday. We had the best time soaking up the sun, snorkeling with sea turtles, eating incredible food, exploring the beautiful landscape, stargazing, and watching those beautiful Hawaiian sunsets again. It felt so good to be back in the place that filled our hearts with so much joy. It was the absolute perfect way to celebrate 5 years of marriage as well as turning 30. We knew that we would be back and upon our return home, we booked again for September 2022, this time with friends who have never been. We were so excited to introduce them to our special place just as our friends had in 2019. We are so happy that Maui is now one of their favorite places and we will all hopefully be returning together in 2023!
Although we returned from our trip a few weeks ago, every time I look at my new necklace from Dune I am instantly filled with all of the incredible memories we have made in Hawaii over the years. It is amazing how a piece of jewelry can be so special and bring you back to your happy place in an instant. I am so glad I have this piece to wear anytime I want to be transported back to my favorite place. I also love that more charms can be added to capture special memories as they are created!
