Here in our Boston Studio, we’re dreaming of the first day of Spring! March 20th is just around the corner, and with it brings new adventures to be had in the warmer weather. Here are some of our favorite spring destinations to visit.

Our Favorite Spring Destinations

Ogunquit, Maine

“A beautiful place by the sea,” is this New England Town’s Motto, and it couldn’t ring truer in Springtime. In the warmer air, a walk on the Marginal Way Cliff walk from Ogunquit Beach to Perkin’s Cove is a perfect way to take in spring. Not to mention, sand from Perkin’s Cove is beautiful and chunky, filled with mussel shells and dark stones. From the Shops on Perkin’s Cove to Main Street, not only can you find candy treats and souvenir’s, you can also find Dune Jewelry in On the Main Gift Shop. Taking the coastal highway to and from this coastal cove will make for a beautiful Springtime memory.

Virginia Beach, Virginia

In Virginia Beach, Springtime means beach time. With an average of 68 degrees in April, traveling here means you can go barefoot in the soft golden sands. If you’re adventurous, Kiteboarding has made a name for itself on the strand, but it’s also just as fun to watch as you walk on the 3-mile-long boardwalk. If you’re planning a trip in June, you can meet us at Trunk Shows! Or you can memorialize your vacation in our Sterling Virginia State Charm.

Pensacola Beach Florida

Pensacola, Florida

Can’t wait for summer? Head to the Florida Panhandle before it gets too hot! With miles of powder white beaches and temperatures in the 70’s and 80’s makes Pensacola Summer in Spring. Did you know that Pensacola was one of the first European Settlements in the US? Visit their Historical Village with 19th Century buildings. Head to the beach for a sunset stroll. And don’t forget to capture your trip with a Petite Sand Dollar Necklace that highlights the white sand and beauty of Pensacola.

washington dc cherry blossoms

Washington, D.C.

Our Nation’s Capital is home to countless museums and monuments. When you visit Washington D.C. in Spring, you also experience the Cherry Blossom bloom which is a sight to behold. This year the Peak Blossom viewing is early; March 17-20th, but the National Cherry Blossom Festival will run through April 15th. Capture some falling petals and send them to us for your jewelry! Our Sandglobe Necklace beautifully highlights the whites and pinks of the Cherry Blossoms.

So get out there, travel, and let Dune Jewelry hand make all of your Springtime Memories.
