Gift Giving for your Favorite People

Okay, I know some of us might be in denial, but the fact is that we’re less than 2 weeks away from Thanksgiving which means that Christmas and holiday gift giving is right around the corner.  So, instead of stressing about it, it’s time to get excited!!  What are you going to give your favorite people this year?  A fabulous pair of shades, a heartfelt letter and batch of his or her favorite homemade cookies, or maybe a weekend getaway (my favorite)!

When Eric and I first got together, we were both really thoughtful gift-givers, and to be honest, Eric is still the BEST at choosing holiday cards that oftentimes make me cry a bit, but as time has passed, we’ve both become more focused on the kids rather than each other during the holidays.  Our thoughtful gifts have given way to gift certificates to Dunkin’ Donuts and day spas, which aren’t necessarily bad, but they do lack creativity.
