2016 is coming to a close, the weather getting colder here in New England, and I am constantly reminding myself of the sunny beaches of Jamaica, where my girlfriend and I spent an unforgettable vacation back in April! I also remind myself of our amazing family weekend on White Horse Beach in July. Reflecting on those adventures and preparing my holiday shopping list it only seemed natural to find a way to share these memories with as many friends and family as I could.
To be able to share the warmth of the sun, the feeling of sand in our toes, and the relaxing peace we found was no easy task, but I knew that Dune was the perfect place to start. We like to say “Live for the moment, then take it with you” and while I wish I got to wake up everyday to the ocean view of Sandals Ochi in Ocho Rios or spend my evenings with a bon fire on White Horse Beach in Plymouth, MA, I knew a few of our new & classic pieces would do the trick.
Now, don’t go and spoil the surprise, but here’s the plan. For my girlfriend I’m going to introduce her to our new stackable Sterling Cuff Bracelets filled with various sands I secretly collected while in Jamaica. I have sand from the private beach we relaxed on every morning, from the hike we did up Dunn’s River Falls and from the beach we had a romantic candle lit dinner.
Yankee Swap Gift Ideas
For the family, we do a yankee swap gift exchange every year. This year I plan to include our Beach Sand Snowflake Ornaments, Flip Flop Necklace and our signature Bangles made with White Horse Beach sand. So, while the cold air creeps over New England, I’m holding onto my favorite memories of the year and spreading a little holiday joy. The only questions left is, what memories will we make next year?
