I am really excited to see the success of this brand new collection that puts a whole new twist on Experiential Jewelry. You, our loyal WaveMakers have spoken and we’re so excited to be expanding our BLUE by Dune Jewelry Collection. It has been quite a journey for me and our entire team, but the response has been fantastic and we’re expanding our newest collection featuring one of my favorite natural elements, Larimar.
The Stone
This exotic element lay undiscovered in the heart of a Volcano until an earthquake shook it loose and sent the brilliant blue stones tumbling downstream. Discovered in the 1970’s a river in the remote province of Barahona in the Dominican Republic, the rare blue gem was named Larimar, from the Spanish word for ocean, “mar.” The beautiful blue gem is found only in the Dominican Republic.
I always wanted to work with an exotic material to create all types of designs. I was able to adapt some our best selling items and to create a range of desigsn I know you’ll all love.
As we see this collection grow, we’re featuring designs we know our Dunies love and have designs featuring Larimar & Sand! So take a bit of that beach day with you always and jump into the BLUE with us!
