Let’s do this 2019!
As the new year approaches, I’ve been a bit more nostalgic than usual. It’s not my personality to dwell in the past, I’ve always been more of a forward momentum type of girl, but coming into 2019 I just can’t shake all the good feels and deep connections surrounding me. Looking back at 2018, there are many reasons why I’m happy and grateful. I have two energetic and crazy (in a good way) little girls, a supportive and really funny husband and all of YOU! I noticed in 2018 that so many of you came back to Dune to create and collect new pieces and capture more moments than ever before! Some of you hadn’t ordered or been in touch since 2015 or 2016, but as you created more memories, you thought of Dune as the perfect time capsule for those special moments. That is just amazing to me and it lets me know that I’m on the right path. I’m grateful for the relationships we’ve built over the years and it’s truly all of your feedback (good or bad) that excites me for 2019 and beyond.
In just one short year, we’ve moved our studio, added 4 new team members, placed #2590 on the INC 5000 list, created a new collection of larimar jewelry, added well over 1,200 new sands and elements to our rapidly growing Sandbank and launched 20+ designs! Those designs include Camille Kostek’s Voyager Collection, Ann Liguori’s Hamptons Rope Collection, our beaded gemstone bracelets, the Anchor & Compass Collections and our most recently launched favorite, the Men’s Lava & Wood beaded bracelets.
We also added thousands of new people to our email list and we touched more people through our weekly emails, blog and on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram. If you count the entire community, there are about 200,000 active Dunies (an awesome name I’ve given to our customers) throughout the WORLD!
2018 was one for the books and 2019 is going to be even better. I’m going to be out on the road more often and reporting back to you in our blog so that you can hear all about our unique adventures. New places and faces are what I love most and hope to experience more of in the new year.
Thank you Dunies! Thank you for embracing life, love, travel, beaches, lakes, mountains, rivers, days on the golf course, music, road trips, and life’s great adventures. Let’s stay curious this year and make the best memories yet. I love you guys!
