What would you sing at Karaoke night?

The Time Warp from Rocky Horror, Tiptoe Through the Tulips, or an old jazz standard.

What would you want for your superhero power?

The power to be totally present in multiple places at once. (and to remember it all later as separate times)

Do you play an instrument?

Yes! I play the flute and dabble in tin whistle and other small flute-like instruments. I used to play the Highland Pipes.

Star Wars (as long as you exclude the prequels)

Hike

Kindle or paperback book?

Paperbacks always. I’m old-fashioned.

What three words describe you?

Creative, brave, and drive

Do you have pets?

No, but I get visitation to a dashing black cat named Louis Vuitton.

What’s the one thing you can’t live without?

Music.

What’s your ‘death row’ meal?

Spicy chili, corn bread with honey butter, lemon meringue pie, and apple pie.

What kind of music do you listen to while you’re working?

Ragtime, early jazz, classical, punk, lounge jazz, and 80s synth/New Wave.

What’s your favorite piece of Dune Jewelry and why?

My favorite piece at Dune is the Marina necklace. It is one of the most versatile and easy to wear pieces at Dune. I can dress it up and down with whatever I wear with it. The bold size and the simplicity of the shape really let each sand speak for itself, in both texture and saturated color.

What’s your favorite beach sand? Have you ever been there? Why do you love it?

My favorite sand is the black sand of Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester, MA. I have never been there. It’s purely an aesthetic reason: I love the black color with the silver shimmer. It goes with effortlessly with everything I wear.
